Synergistic Effects of SDF-1α Chemokine and Hyaluronic Acid Release from Degradable Hydrogels on Directing Bone Marrow Derived Cell Homing to the Myocardium
To enhance the engraftment of circulating bone marrow derived cells in the myocardium following myocardial infarction, researchers developed in situ forming hyaluronic acid (HA) hydrogels with degradable crosslinks to sustain the release of recombinant stromal cell-derived factor-1 alpha (SDF-1α) and HA to the injured myocardium. Halozyme Confirms Baxter Has Received a Complete Response Letter for HyQ BLA
Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. announced that the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a complete response letter for Baxter’s HyQ Biologics License Application (BLA). HyQ is an investigational product that includes plasma-derived immune globulin 10% and Halozyme’s recombinant human hyaluronidase for subcutaneous administration in patients with primary immunodeficiency disease.
